The ASPCA (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) estimates 3.3M dogs are taken in by shelters each year in the USA. And if that statistic isn’t bad enough they estimate 670,000 of them are euthanized. Think about that – it means every minute of every day just over 1 dog is euthanized or almost 77 each and every hour!
Surely in light of these heart-breaking statistics for anyone who really loves dogs and cares about their welfare there can only be one decision – to ADOPT!!!!!
